Göteborgs universitet is the biggest education and research centre in western Sweden. We have over 51 000 students and evolve continuously in cooperation with companies, municipalities and organisations in the area. We are focused on five main areas: medicine, odontology, natural science, social science and the arts. 140 departments with appr. 2 500 qualified teachers and scientists represent a wide range of specialist competence within each and every subject.
